just wondering how the inspections are done? how do you evalute horses without pictures?

Yes, we will evaluate horses without pictures. Its kind of a mix of randomizer and judging - the numbers are randomized and then we adjust them if needed (since a horse won't typically score a 10 on conformation but then 5 on head and neck, etc. - also, we look at how the horse is presented, any known pedigree or show info, etc.). We each take on certain horses (we just did every other one this time) and send each other our results, and then add the second set of results (which usually vary by 0-2 marks on each area) to get the average. The more judges, the better rounded the score. Pictures are always pretty to look at, but a sloppy page with beautiful pictures isn't nearly as impressive as a well formatted page with no pictures. We are looking for more judges, in case you might be interested Like I said, the more judges we can have (three is optimum) the better rounded the final score will be

hehe, no i barely have the time for sim at all right now. i feel like such a slacker for doing so little with the ahac and ahejc, so i dont think ill get involved in even more. right now atleast i still havent gotten fully updated since my harddrive crashed and i lost everything back in early september...
